Verify that the Communications Lines are Restarted
4. Start an Expand-over-IP line.
To start a single line, use the SCF START LINE command.
START LINE $line-name
To start all the lines in an Expand multiline path, use the SCF START PATH
command.
START PATH $line-name
5. Start the ServerNet wide area network (SWAN) concentrator and its associated
WAN subsystem IOPs and communications lines:
a. Use the SCF START ADAPTER command with the SUB ALL option to start the
SWAN concentrator.
START ADAPTER $ZZWAN.#adapter-name, SUB ALL
b. Use the SCF START DEVICE command to start the WAN subsystem IOPs.
START DEVICE $ZZWAN.#device-name
c. Start the line(s).

Verify that the Communications Lines are Restarted
1. Use the SCF STATUS SUBNET command to verify that the TCP/IP subnet is in a
STARTED state (see Example 3-30).
STATUS SUBNET $tcpip-process-name.#subnet-name
Note. To verify that a TCP/IP subnet is configured using Parallel Library TCP/IP is started,
refer to the TCP/IP (Parallel Library) Configuration and Management Manual. To verify that a
TCP/IP subnet is configured using NonStop TCP/IPv6 is started, refer to the TCP/IPv6
Configuration and Management Manual.
