The negative factors that contribute to lower the system recovery performance score
are the following:
(1)
CPU: A processor that can create a CPU cycle shortage to the system;
when the CPU fails, it adds a negative score to the total score.
(2)
Memory: A processor that can introduce a memory shortage to the
system; when the CPU fails, it adds a negative score to the total score.
CPU Failure Simulation
Example 4-41 is a detailed report displaying CPU failure simulation. This report gives a
full picture of how the other processors in a system are affected when a processor
fails. Additional CPU and memory demands are detailed.
