SYNOPSIS
#include <complex.h>
float complex catanhf(
float complex z);
PARAMETERS
z Specifies a float complex value.
DESCRIPTION
The catanhf() function is a float complex version of the catanh( ) function; it takes a float com-
plex argument and returns a float complex result.
The catanhf() function computes the complex arc hyperbolic tangent of z, with branch cuts out-
side the interval [-1, +1] along the real axis.
NOTES
This function is implemented only for the IEEE_float floating-point option. Applications using
this function cannot be compiled if the specified floating-point option is Tandem_float.
RETURN VALUES
The catanhf() function returns the complex arc hyperbolic tangent of z in the range of a strip
mathematically unbound along the real axis and in the interval [-iπ/2, +iπ/2] along the imaginary
axis.
ERRORS
No errors are defined.
