SYNOPSIS
#include <complex.h>
long double complex cpowl(
long double complex x,
long double complex y
);
PARAMETERS
x Species a long double complex value.
y Species a long double complex value.
DESCRIPTION
The cpowl() function is a long double complex version of the cpow() function; it takes long dou-
ble complex arguments and returns a long double complex result.
The cpowl() function computes the complex value of x raised to the power of y (or x
y
), with a
branch cut for the first parameter along the negative real axis.
NOTES
This function is implemented only for the IEEE_float oating-point option. Applications using
this function cannot be compiled if the specified floating-point option is Tandem_float.
RETURN VALUES
The powf() function returns the complex value of x raised to the power of y.
ERRORS
No errors are defined.
RELATED INFORMATION
