SYNOPSIS
#include <complex.h>
float complex csqrtf(
float complex z);
PARAMETERS
z Is the float complex value whose complex square root is to be computed.
DESCRIPTION
The csqrtf( ) function is a float complex version of the csqrt() function; it takes a float complex
argument and returns a float complex result.
The csqrtf( ) function computes the complex square root of x in the range of the right half-plane
(including the imaginary axis). There is a branch cut along the negative real axis.
NOTES
This function is implemented only for the IEEE_float floating-point option. Applications using
this function cannot be compiled if the specified floating-point option is Tandem_float.
RETURN VALUES
The csqrtf( ) function returns the square root of x in the range of the right half-plane (including
the imaginary axis).
ERRORS
No errors are defined.
RELATED INFORMATION
Functions: cpow(3), csqrt(3), csqrtl(3).
STANDARDS CONFORMANCE
This function conforms to the ISO/IEC 9899:1999 standard.
This function conforms to the IEEE Std 1003.1, 2004 Edition.
