SYNOPSIS
#include <fenv.h>
int feholdexcept(
fenv_t *envp);
PARAMETERS
envp Species the object that is to store the current floating-point environment.
DESCRIPTION
The feholdexcept() function saves the current floating-point environment in the object pointed to
by the parameter envp. This function also clears the floating-point status flags and then installs a
non-stop (continue on floating-point exceptions) mode, if available, for all floating-point excep-
tions.
The feholdexcept() function can be used with the feupdatenv() function to hide spurious
floating-point exceptions from a call.
The feholdexcept() function can be used with the fesetenv( ) function to hide all floating-point
exceptions.
NOTES
This function is implemented only for the IEEE_float oating-point option. Applications using
this function cannot be compiled if the specified floating-point option is Tandem_float.
RETURN VALUES
The feholdexcept() function always returns 0 (zero), indicating the successful disabling of any
traps.
