NAME

LIBRARY

SYNOPSIS
#include <fenv.h>
int fesetenv(
const fenv_t *envp);
PARAMETERS
envp Points to an object set by a call to fegetenv() or feholdexcept(), or equals the
macro FE_DFL_ENV.
DESCRIPTION
The fesetenv() function establishes the floating-point environment represented by the object
pointed to by the parameter envp.
Note that the fesetenv( ) function merely installs the state of the floating-point status flags
represented through its parameter; the fesetenv() function does not raise these floating-point
exceptions (that is, no traps will be taken).
NOTES
This function is implemented only for the IEEE_float oating-point option. Applications using
this function cannot be compiled if the specified floating-point option is Tandem_float.
RETURN VALUES
The fesetenv() function always returns 0 (zero), indicating that the environment was success-
fully established.
RELATED INFORMATION
