PARAMETERS
x Species a double number.
y Species a double number.
DESCRIPTION
The fmin() function determines the minimum numeric value of two floating-point numbers.
NaN arguments are treated as missing data. If one argument is a NaN and the other numeric, the
fmin() function returns the numeric value.
NOTES
This function is implemented only for the IEEE_float oating-point option. Applications using
this function cannot be compiled if the specified floating-point option is Tandem_float.
RETURN VALUES
Upon successful completion, the fmin( ) function returns the minimum numeric value of x and y.
If one argument is a NaN and the other numeric, the fmin( ) function returns the numeric value.
If both x and y are NaNs, the fmin() function returns NaN.
