SYNOPSIS
#include <complex.h>
float complex cacosf(
float complex z);
PARAMETERS
z Specifies a float complex value.
DESCRIPTION
The cacosf() function is a float complex version of the cacos() function; it takes a float complex
argument and returns a float complex result.
The cacosf() function computes the complex arc cosine of z, in the range of a strip mathemati-
cally unbounded along the imaginary axis and in the interval [0, π] along the real axis.
Branch cuts are outside the interval [-1, +1] along the real axis.
NOTES
This function is implemented only for the IEEE_float floating-point option. Applications using
this function cannot be compiled if the specified floating-point option is Tandem_float.
RETURN VALUES
The cacosf() function returns the complex arc cosine of z, in the range of a strip mathematically
unbounded along the imaginary axis and in the interval [0, π] along the real axis.
ERRORS
No errors are defined.
