HP Large Objects System Management Manual
HP Large Objects System Management Manual – 543599.001
space allocated.
104 BSET_MIN_SEG_SIZE
The minimum power of two (between
5 and 20).
The smaller this value, the less disk
space is wasted, at the expense of
more disk access.
9
105 BSET_MAX_SEG_SIZE
The maximum power of two (between
10 and 31).
The larger this value, the greater the
chance that the BuddySpace is rarely
used. The smaller the value, the lower
the chance of finding enough free
space to store Large Objects.
20
109 BSP_AUDIT_FLAG
When set to zero, BuddySpaces are
not audited, when non-zero, they are
audited. Auditing BuddySpaces is an
expensive operation, and usually
gives little advantage as the FSMs are
always audited. Useful for
applications requiring RDF.
0
221 BSP_OPEN_WHEN_PCT_FULL
The percentage is full when a
BuddySpace is reopened, having been
previously closed when it became
full. The higher this percentage, the
more frequently the Buddy Group
Monitor has to re-open the
BuddySpaces.
75
270 QBUDDY_POLLING_INTERVAL
The number of minutes between each
QBuddy read by the monitor.
5
271 QBUDDY_DELETE_INTERVAL
The number of minutes after which
the monitor deletes old QBuddy rows.
This is always longer than the
QBUDDY_POLLING_INTERVAL
to ensure that all posts to the QBuddy
are processed.
30
300 FSM_READ_DIRTY_BUFF_LEN
The number of bytes to be read at a
time from the FSM in an attempt to
find unused space.
4096
301 FSM_PCT_ONES_UNTIL_ZERO
The maximum percentage of the FSM
to be searched for an available space
before giving up and moving to the
next FSM.
