HP SIM for NonStop Manageability

NOTE: Immediately after enabling Power Regulator, use Insight Control Power Management to
view and alter the Power Regulator setting for each processor blade in this NonStop BladeSystem.
See “Alter Power Regulator Setting” (page 29).
Alter Power Regulator Setting
After Power Regulator is enabled as described in “Enable Power Regulator” (page 28), immediately
use Insight Control Power Management to change the Power Regulator setting for this NonStop
BladeSystem, as follows:
1. In the HP SIM Options menu, select Power Management.
2. Enter the credentials for each blade iLO and OA in the section labeled “Default Management
Processor Access Credentials.”
3. If the blades have not already been discovered, do the following:
a. In the HP SIM Options menu, select Discovery.
b. Create and run a Discovery task to discover the OAs of the NonStop BladeSystem. This
task may take a few minutes to complete the discovery. For more information, see the
online help for the version of HP SIM that you are using.
4. In the Systems and Event Collections tree on the left, select the NonStop BladeSystem.
5. Click the Power/Thermal tab:
