10. Wait 5 minutes and then use the OSM Service Connection to look for alarms on the System
object. If Power Regulator settings on all blades in the NonStop BladeSystem do not match,
an alarm is generated on the System object.
If there is an alarm on the System object, click the System object, select the alarms tab and
then right-click the alarm and select Detail to determine whether the alarm is due to a mismatch
of Power Regulator settings.
If there is a mismatch of Power Regulator settings, use the alarm repair actions to correct the
mismatch.
Disable Power Regulator
To disable Power Regulator, do the following:
1. The OSM Service Connection displays action Enable/Disable Blade Power Regulator
Management in the Available Actions pane of the Actions dialog for the System object in the
OSM tree. Select Enable/Disable Blade Power Regulator Management.
2. A confirmation dialog is displayed. Click Perform Action.
3. The OSM Service Connection displays a confirmation dialog box. Read it and click OK.
4. The OSM Service Connection presents the Power Regulator Mode Management pull-down
menu. Select Disable in the menu.
This procedure changes the OSM attribute Power Regulator Management Status under the System
object to Disabled.
