6 Monitoring a Modular Storage Adapter (MSA) Attached

to a VTS in HP SIM

You can monitor an MSA with HP SIM.

NOTE: You must have an MSA version 2000.

To monitor an MSA with HP SIM, follow these steps:

1. Discover your MSA system, providing valid credentials for the MSA, using the discovery steps

described in “Discovering a NonStop System” (page 16).

2. On the MSA, login to the Storage Management Utility:
