Items
An item is a collection of data such as ASCII text, binary data, or some other type of
data defined by the application. An item can also have other items attached to it,
including external objects. External objects are GUARDIAN 90 files that are kept as
GUARDIAN 90 files, external to the TRANSFER database, which can be attached to a
TRANSFER item and transported.
Correspondents create items and can add to, delete, and change the contents of the items
they create.
Figure 2-2 shows examples of items.
