PS MAIL Profiles
Each depot includes a PS MAIL profile for the correspondent or group. The profile is
created when the correspondent is registered by a system administrator. It contains
operational parameters that apply to sessions with the correspondent; for example:
The name of the default printer where PS MAIL prints packages
An indication of whether all people who receive a package are also to receive copies
of the reply
Correspondents also can control their mail through their TRANSFER profiles; for
example, they can determine the order in which the contents of a folder are retrieved for
the correspondent to scan or read. PS MAIL can retrieve packages in chronological
order or group packages that are from the same source.
PS MAIL correspondents can change parts of their profiles. Certain parameters that
require system administrator privileges can be changed only by system administrators.
