Header Format
Header Format
The format of the first line of all trace records is the same. Each trace record displayed is
preceded by a header line of the following format:
DateStamp
displays the date at which the trace was captured.
TimeStamp
displays the time at which the trace was captured.
DeltaTime
displays the time lapsed (in seconds) since the previous trace was captured. If the
time reaches 999.999 or greater, 999.999 is displayed. DeltaTime is 0 for the first
record and for any record with a timestamp earlier than the previous record
displayed.
TraceRecordNumber
displays the number of the trace record. Trace records are numbered sequentially
beginning at 1. If you selected the WRAP option when the trace was made, records
are wrapped and the first records in the file are overwritten if the trace becomes full
(the oldest data is overwritten first).
Type
displays the record type code, which identifies the type of information contained in
the record.
IPX Interface Trace Records
This subsection describes the trace records written by the IPX Protocol Layer.
