Outbound Packet Trace Record
SPX Data
indicates that data is being received, in hexadecimal.
Outbound Packet Trace Record
The trace record showing an outbound SPX packet is formatted as follows:
OUTBOUND spx
indicates an outbound SPX packet with source and destination IPX addresses
separated by ->.
ConnID
displays the source and destination connection identifiers.
Seq
tracks the number of data packets sent by the connection and acknowledged by the
receiver.
Ack
displays the acknowledge data packet number.
Alloc
displays the allocation number used for flow control.
OCB
displays the IPXPROTO process open control block (OCB) index for the NonStop™
Himalaya S-series client’s OCB.
Connection Control
specifies whether the packet is a system packet, is used to acknowledge data
packets, or is a data packet.
DataStream
specifies the data stream type; either 0xFE for an End-of-Connection packet or 0xFF
for an End-of-Connection-Acknowledgment.
