Event Messages for NonStop™ IPX/SPX
This section describes the contents and meaning of all event messages generated by
NonStop™ IPX/SPX. For general information on how an application obtains event
messages from subsystems that use the SPI common extensions (ZCOM) tokens, refer
to the SPI Common Extensions Manual.
In this section, command numbers, object types, and all tokens and their values are
represented in Data Definition Language (DDL). For a quick explanation of DDL, refer
to the SPI Programming Manual.
This appendix contains the following sections:

Subsystem Processes That Report Events
Within the NonStop IPX/SPX subsystem, the NonStop™ IPX/SPX Manager
(IPXMGR) process generates event messages. All event messages contain the
NonStop™ IPX/SPX subsystem ID (SSID) value ZIPX-VAL-SSID.
ZIPX and ZCOM Event Messages
NonStop™ IPX/SPX processes generate both NonStop™ IPX/SPX-defined (ZIPX)
event messages and common data communications (ZCOM) event messages. ZCOM
event messages are described in the SPI Common Extensions Manual. Table B-1 lists the
event messages defined by NonStop™ IPX/SPX.
