ZEMS-TKN-CHANGE-REASON
has one of the following values, depending on the cause of the failure:
ZEMS-TKN-SYMPTOM-STRING
is the subsystem-supplied string containing the description and location of the
problem. This is a conditional token that is supplied when ZEMS-TKN-FAILURE-
CAUSE has the value ZEMS-VAL-INTERNAL-FAILED. The symptom strings
correspond to the diagnostic states displayed with the SCF STATUS PROCESS
command.
ZEMS-TKN-UNDERLYING-OBJ-NAME
is the fully qualified name of the underlying object whose failure caused this object
to go out of service. This is a conditional token that is supplied when ZEMS-TKN-
FAILURE-CAUSE has the value ZEMS-VAL-UNDERLYING-FAILED.

indicates the name of the IPXPROTO process for which this event is generated.
failure cause
indicates the reason for the failure.
underlying obj name
specifies the name of the underlying object that failed.
symptom string
is the location and the cause of the internal failure.
Value Meaning
ZEMS-VAL-OPERATOR-
INITIATED
An SCF STOP or ABORT was issued to stop
the process.
ZEMS-VAL-UNDERLYING-
FAILED
The underlying service that this object depends
on has failed. That service name is reported in
ZEMS-TKN-UNDERLYING-OBJ-NAME.
ZEMS-VAL-INTERNAL-FAILED An internal error occurred that caused this
object to become unavailable. The location of
the internal error is reported in ZEMS-TKN-
SYMPTOM-STRING.
