IPXSPX 00011
obj-name
is the name of the object you specified in an ALTER command.
Cause. The ALTER command failed for one of the following reasons.
•
The SLSA logical interface (LIF) is down, or the LIF is not accessible.
•
The specified processors are not on the access list.
•
The specified IOPORTNAME is incorrect.
Effect. The command is not executed.
Recovery. Verify that the specified IOPORTNAME exists, is configured for QIO, and
is in the correct format. Make sure that the LIF is started with the specified processors
on the access list.
IPXSPX 00012
obj-name
is the name of the object you specified in an ADD command.
error
is either a file-system error or one of the following:
IPXSPX 00011 ALTER obj-name failed due to error = error
IPXSPX 00012 ADD obj-name failed due to error = error
1 Program file error. An error occurred when the IPXMGR process
attempted to start the IPXPROTO process. The problem is related to
the specified CODEFILE. Make sure the specified CODEFILE
exists.
11 Process-name error. An error occurred when the IPXMGR process
attempted to start the IPXPROTO process. The problem is related to
the specified process name. Make sure the process name is in the
correct format and that a process using that name does not already
exist.
51 The specified IOPORTNAME is invalid. Ensure that the
IOPORTNAME is specified in the following form:
LIF-name.filter-protocol. (See Specifying Processes, LIF
Names, and Filter Protocols in SCF Commands on page 3-8.)
