ABORT Command
The remainder of this subsection provides a detailed description of each SCF command,
including the syntax, object and attribute specifiers, examples, and operational
considerations.
ABORT Command
The ABORT command terminates the operation of objects as quickly as possible. Any
active connections are lost and only enough processing is done to ensure the security of
the subsystem. The object is left in the STOPPED summary state once the operation of
the object terminates. For orderly termination, you should use the STOP command.
You must specify the SUB option to abort an IPXPROTO process through the SUBSYS
object.
ABORT is a sensitive command.
ABORT PROCESS
ABORT PROCESS terminates the operation of an IPXPROTO process as quickly as
possible.
