Total Errors
displays the sum of the following fields:
Send Failure Count
Bad Incoming Packet Cnt
Suppressed Packet Count
Description of Statistics for the IPX Layer
Inbound Packet Count
displays the total number of inbound packets received by the IPX Layer.
Outbound Packet Count
displays the total number of outbound packets sent from the IPX Layer.
Open Sockets Count
displays the current number of open sockets for IPX.
Open Socket Failure Cnt
displays the number of times an IPX socket was unavailable. Use the INFO
command to check the value of IPXMAXSOCKETS. If the value equals the Open
Socket Count in the STATS display, reconfigure IPXMAXSOCKETS to a larger value.
Find Route Failure Count
displays the number of times an IPXPROTO process was unable to find a route to
the specified network.
Dropped Packet Count
displays the number of packets dropped by the IPXPROTO process’s interface to
QIO as a result of one of the following failures:
Backup process gets inbound message
Inbound message is too small to hold header
No memory resources available
