STATUS Command
Trace File Name
displays the name of the file to which trace records are being written by the primary
IPXPROTO process.
STATUS SERVER
STATUS SERVER returns current information on the SERVER object.
Command Syntax
OUT file-spec
directs any SCF output generated for this command to the specified file.
file-spec must be a partially or fully qualified name. If you do not specify this
option, the output goes to the home terminal.
SERVER server-name
is the name of the server (always named $ZNVn.#SAP.)
STATUS SERVER Display Format
The format of the display for a SERVER object is:
Name
displays the server name. The server name can be up to 48 characters in length, but
only the first 35 characters are displayed here.
Address
displays the IPX network address assigned to the server on a NetWare LAN. The
12-byte address is composed of 3 fields: the network number, the node number, and
the socket number. This address appears in hexadecimal notation with a colon
separating each field.
The network number identifies a network within an internetwork. The network
number is 4 bytes long.
