Events 2000 through 2999: Distributor Process
Messages (Identifier: dist)
Recovery. Contact your service provider, and provide all relevant information as
described in the beginning of Events 2000 through 2999: Distributor Process
Messages (Identifier: dist) on page 1-33.
2024
Cause. An unidentified message was received on $RECEIVE. The error might be
caused by an incompatibility error between the Distributor process and the process
with which it was communicating.
Effect. The Distributor process exits.
Recovery. Contact your service provider, and provide all relevant information as
described in the beginning of Events 2000 through 2999: Distributor Process
Messages (Identifier: dist) on page 1-33.
2025
Cause. No more openers are allowed at $RECEIVE. This can be caused by either of
the following reasons:
PATHMON has been intentionally shut down.
A programming error has occurred.
Effect. The Distributor process exits.
Recovery. The recovery action depends on the cause of this message:
If PATHMON was intentionally shut down, this was an intentional event and it is a
normal occurrence for $RECEIVE to close.
If PATHMON was not intentionally shut down, most likely a programming error has
occurred. Contact your service provider, and provide all relevant information as
described in the beginning of Events 2000 through 2999: Distributor Process
Messages (Identifier: dist) on page 1-33.
