Installing the iTP Secure WebServer
This section describes what you need to do to prepare your Compaq system to run the
iTP Secure WebServer and explains how to install and configure it. It also provides a
test procedure that you can use to verify configuration and to perform server testing.
iTP Secure WebServer System Requirements
The iTP Secure WebServer runs on a variety of Compaq systems and is supported by
standard Compaq subsystems and local area network (LAN) controllers.
Supported Compaq NonStop Systems
The iTP Secure WebServer supports the following NonStop systems:
Himalaya K1000, K2000, K10000, K20000 series
Himalaya S7000, S70000
CLX/R series
All OSS-supported systems
Required and Optional Software
The following Compaq software products are required for using the iTP Secure
WebServer:
NonStop operating system version D42 or later, or G03 or later. For information on
installing the NonStop operating system, refer to the Install User’s Guide.
Open System Services (OSS) file system, D40 or later, with the Compaq SafeGuard
product installed. For information on creating an OSS environment, refer to the
Open System Services Installation Guide.
TCP/IP, including the Sockets library, D40 or later, with QIO D42 or later. The IP
addresses of both the iTP Secure WebServer and the Compaq system must be
registered on the Domain Name Server (DNS) of your LAN.
For information about installing and configuring TCP/IP and DNS, refer to the
TCP/IP Configuration and Management Manual.
For information about installing and configuring Parallel Library TCP/IP, refer to
the TCP/IP (Parallel Library) Configuration and Management Manual
For information about installing and configuring the QIO subsystem, refer to the
QIO Configuration and Management Manual.
