Required Hardware
NonStop TS/MP subsystem, with PATHMON and Pathsend features, version D40 or
later. For information on installing and configuring this subsystem, refer to the
TS/MP System Management Manual.
NonStop SQL/MP D42 or later, including TSQLEXE, TSQLCAT, TSQLUTI, and
TSQLFIL. This product is required only if you will be using the Resource Locator
Service (RLS).
NonStop Server for Java D42 or later. This product is required only if you plan to
use Java servlets in the iTP Secure WebServer environment.
The following software products are optional for using the iTP Secure WebServer:
NonStop Server for Java 2.0, if you will be using Java servlets with the iTP Secure
WebServer. For information about installing the Servlet Server Class (SSC), see
Installing NonStop Servlets for JavaServer Pages (NSJSP) on page 9-13. For
information about the NonStop Server for Java 2.0, see the NonStop Server for Java
(NSJ) Programmer’s Guide.
NonStop Tuxedo, if you will be using Active Transaction Pages (ATP). For more
information about ATP, see the iTP Active Transaction Pages (iTP ATP)
Programmer’s Guide.
In addition to the Compaq products, you must have access to a web client such as
Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you will be running your server in
secure mode, you will need access to a secure browser.
Required Hardware
The hardware required for a Himalaya server is as follows:
For a Himalaya K-series server, you must have a 3615 Ethernet controller or a 3616
Token Ring controller.
For information about installing the 3615 Ethernet controller or the 3616 Token
Ring controller, refer to Configuring Controllers for NonStop Systems.
For a Himalaya S-series server, you must have an E4SA adapter or a TRSA adapter.
For information about installing the E4SA, refer to the E4SA Adapter Installation
and Support Guide. For information on installing the TRSA, refer to the Token-Ring
Installation and Support Guide.
