Required and Optional Software
The following HP software products are required for using the iTP Secure WebServer:
•
NonStop operating system version D42 or later, or G03 or later. For information
about installing the NonStop operating system, refer to the INSTALL User’s Guide
or the DSM/SCM User’s Guide.
•
Open System Services (OSS) file system, D40 or later. For information on creating
an OSS environment, refer to the Open System Services Installation Guide.
•
TCP/IP, including the Sockets library and SCF, D40 or later and G06 or later. The
IP addresses of both the iTP Secure WebServer and the HP system must be
registered on the Domain Name Server (DNS) of your LAN.
For information about installing and configuring TCP/IP and DNS, refer to the
TCP/IP Configuration and Management Manual.
For information about installing and configuring Parallel Library TCP/IP, refer to the
TCP/IP (Parallel Library) Configuration and Management Manual.
•
NonStop TS/MP subsystem, with PATHMON and Pathsend features, version D40
or later. For information on installing and configuring this subsystem, refer to the
TS/MP System Management Manual.
•
NonStop SQL/MP D42 or later, including TSQLEXE, TSQLCAT, TSQLUTI,
TSQLFIL, and TSQLMSG. This product is required only if you will be using the
Resource Locator Service (RLS).
The following software products are optional for using the iTP Secure WebServer:
•
NonStop Server for Java (NSJ) 2.0, if you plan to use Java servlets in the iTP
Secure WebServer environment. For information about the NonStop Server for
Java 2.0, see the NonStop Server for Java Programmer’s Guide.
•
NonStop Servlets for JavaServer Pages (NSJSP) V10 or later, if you plan to use
Java servlets in the iTP Secure WebServer environment. For information about
installing NSJSP, see Section 9, Using NonStop Servlets for JavaServer Pages
(NSJSP).
•
NonStop Tuxedo, if you will be using Active Transaction Pages (ATP) and are not
using IEEE floating-point support. For more information about ATP, see the iTP
Active Transaction Pages (iTP ATP) Programmer’s Guide.
•
The WebSafe2 Interface Driver (WID), which provides an interface between the
WISP and the iTP Secure WebServer. The WID is a NonStop TS/MP server class
that you can run in the iTP Secure WebServer PATHMON environment or in any
other PATHMON environment on the same NonStop system. See Install a WISP
on page 2-12 and The WebSafe2 Interface Driver (WID) on page 5-3 for more
information.
