Third Party Databases
Applications must be compatible with features and data types supported by SQL/MX 2.0. Any
application using specific features and data types customized for third party databases must be
modified to work with the Type 4 driver for . Refer to the SQL/MX Reference Manual for
features and data types supported by SQL/MX 2.0.
Operating Systems
Any Type 4 application accessing NonStop SQL/MX release 2.0 can be migrated from one
supported platform to another (for example, PC to HPUX) without any application changes.
