4 NSKCOM Command Reference
NSKCOM is the command interface to manage KMS space. Run NSKCOM by typing
NSKCOM at the HP Tandem Advanced Command Language (TACL) prompt.
NSKCOM includes the commands listed in Table 4-1. As indicated in the table, only
super-group users (255, n) can issue commands that change the KMSF configuration
by adding, stopping use of, or deleting swap space.

ENV Displays current environment information and a list of all
swap files known to NSKCOM
EXIT Terminates your NSKCOM session
FC Enables editing of the previous command
HELP Provides help for NSKCOM commands
INFO Displays static configuration information and file
attributes for the specified object or objects
LOG Appends input and output to the specified file
OBEY Reads the contents of an EDIT file and performs the
commands given there
RESET Sets attributes defined by the ASSUME command back
to original defaults
START Enables use of a swap file Super-group user
(255, n) only
STATUS Displays dynamic statistics for the specified objects
STOP Stops use of a swap file by any additional processes Super-group user
(255, n) only
TIME Displays the local time for a system
VERSION Displays KMSF version information
VOLUME Establishes defaults for qualifying file names in
subsequent commands
