ASSUME Command
THRESHOLD percent-full
specifies the default threshold for subsequent NSKCOM commands.
FORMAT {0 | 1 | 2}
specifies the type of swap file format to be used. When format 0 is specified on
the command line, the system chooses the file format to be used, based on the
file’s size parameters. See Table 1-1 on page 1-9 to see how the values of
extents, maxextents, and size change according to the format of the swap files
used.
filename
specifies the file that subsequent NSKCOM commands apply to. The variable
filename is specified as: $volume.subvolume.filename.
*
specifies that all swap files are to be considered the object of subsequent
NSKCOM commands.
KMSF
specifies that the Kernel-Managed Swap Facility (KMSF) is the object for
subsequent NSKCOM commands.
SWAPDISK
specifies the command option used to assume the disk to be used.
diskname
specifies the actual name of the disk used.
File size, extent size, and maximum extents are related, so altering any of these can
affect the others.
