STATUS Command
STATUS Command
The STATUS command displays dynamic statistics for swap files. Use the STATUS
SWAPFILE command to obtain information on swap files; use the STATUS
SWAP-USAGE command to obtain information on processors, processes, and process
pairs. This command excludes any information on read-only process object file or file-
backed data segments. Use the STATUS KMSF command to obtain information on a
system’s or processors’s swap files as a whole. Use the STATUS SWAPDISK
command to display processes with dependencies. For static information, see the
INFO command.
filename
specifies the name of the swap file whose status is to be displayed. The variable
filename is specified as: $volume.subvolume.filename. The swap file name
specified can include wildcard characters. See the Guardian Procedure Calls
Reference Manual for more information about wildcard characters.
*
specifies that status is to be displayed for all the swap files, all the swap files for
the specified processor, all the processors in the system, or all disknames.
CPU cpu-num
specifies the number of the processor for which the status is to be displayed. If
you do not specify a processor, information is displayed for the specified file or for
all files.
processname
specifies the process for which the status is to be displayed.
cpu, pin
displays status for the process running the pin specified.
CPU
displays status on all of the processes running on the specified CPU.
DETAIL
displays segment information: segment identification, type, and size.
