5 Operator Messages for KMSF
Messages are Generated Under the NSK
Subsystem Name
This section describes all of the operator messages that are generated by the
Kernel-Managed Swap Facility (KMSF). These messages appear under NSK, the
subsystem name for the operating system. For a complete list of messages generated
under the NSK subsystem name, refer to NSK (NonStop Kernel) Messages in the
Operator Messages Manual.
200
cpu
is the processor for which the swap file is configured.
swapspace
is the total percentage of available swap space the processor is using. The total
swap space includes all swap files available to the processor.
swapfile
identifies the kernel-managed swap file that has reached its configured threshold.
There might be other swap files configured for that processor that have not yet
reached their configured thresholds.
threshold
identifies the configured threshold for the swap file. When a swap file allocation
reaches this value, expressed as percent-full, this EMS message is generated.
extent-size
identifies the size of each extent in the swap file.
For G06.11 and earlier releases:
KMSF THRESHOLD EXCEEDED: swapfile threshold% CPU cpu
For G06.12 and later releases:
KMSF TOTAL SWAPSPACE UTILIZATION IN CPU cpu: swapspace%
KMSF threshold exceeded for file: swapfile (threshold %)
Extent size: extent-size disk pages
Max extents: num-extents
File size reserved: file-size-reserved MB
Total file size : total-file-size MB
