This manual serves as an introduction and reference to the HP NonStop TRM2000 
release model, the software upgrade process, software product revision (SPR) 
analysis, and resources for investigating new release version updates (RVUs) and 
SPRs.
Who Should Read This Manual
This manual is written for:

Individuals responsible for investigating software release version updates, 
analyzing SPRs, and for planning and overseeing software upgrade and 
installation activities
•
Managers of the above individuals or individuals new to an organization who may 
need an overview of TRM2000 and the software upgrade and installation process
The typical reader of this manual:

Can have as little as three to six months of system experience on HP NonStop 
servers
•
Should have a basic understanding of HP NonStop S-series system terms and 
concepts and common, industry-standard system management processes
