Softdoc Addendum
•
Problems Corrected indicates what problem corrections, if any, have been made.
Each item is prefaced by the PVU ID that corrected the problem; for example,
[AAM] or [G05].
If a problem is associated with a Genesis solution, the solution number is listed
after the item; otherwise, (No SOLN) is listed.

Known Problems Remaining describes problems that have not been fixed. This
section addresses:
°
The symptoms of the problem
°
If the same symptoms can be caused by another problem, how to determine
which problem it is
°
The operational impact of encountering the problem if it is not obvious
°
The conditions that must be present in your environment to encounter the
problem
°
Actions you can take to reduce or remove the likelihood of encountering the
problem or reduce the operational impact

Softdoc Addendum
A softdoc addendum describes modifications that correct defects or introduce new
features. A softdoc addendum is written for each successive PVU that is created after
the initial PVU. Softdoc addendums for unrestricted SPRs are appended to the initial
PVU softdoc. The initial PVU’s softdoc and a series of softdoc addendums are issued
as one document for unrestricted SPRs.
Softdoc addendums contain these sections:
•
Product Name is the official name of the product.
•
Product Number is the product number (Tnnnn), followed by the product version
suffix; for example, T7862G06.
•
Date is the official SPR date.
•
PVU Number indicates the SPR ID, which is the product number (Tnnnn) plus a
three-letter successive PVU suffix (aaa).
•
Copyright Notice indicates the year this softdoc was released.
•
Revision History indicates any revisions made to this softdoc. For example:
