ID
The unique identifier assigned to the SPR:
Tnnnn product number 
Vnn product version
aaa product version update ID
Access
Indicates the accessibility of the SPR, as described under SPR Attributes on 
page 1-4.
Product Name
The name of the product to which the SPR applies.
Applicable to RVUs
Lists the RVUs to which you can apply this SPR as of the specified date. Unless 
listed, the SPR is not applicable to RVUs shipped prior to that date. 
For RVUs shipped after the specified date, you must determine the applicability of 
the SPR by carefully researching the required firmware and software, and the 
superseded and requisite SPRs. SIDs are updated as new RVUs are shipped, if 
the SPR’s access is changed or to correct mistakes.
ASSESSMENT
Provides an overall assessment of the circumstances under which a typical user 
might want to consider installing this SPR.
Assessments indicating that the SPR introduces fixes for potentially critical 
problems are:

Install promptly to avoid critical problems on all systems.
•
Install promptly to avoid critical problems on systems in certain general 
categories.
•
Install promptly to avoid critical problems in specific cases.
Assessments indicating that the SPR introduces fixes for problems or adds 
features that enhance the product, but that are usually not critical to the processing 
of business transactions are:

Install when convenient for fixes or new features that significantly benefit all 
systems.
