OUTAGE PREVENTION NOTIFICATION
This notice describes a problem that potentially could cause
an application outage and actions you can take to prevent it.
Study this information carefully to evaluate how much risk, if
any, this problem could present in your environment. Consider
taking the preventive action described.

SUMMARY:
Under some conditions, DP2 will fail if a file that has alternate
keys is opened from a system running G06.22 or earlier.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Attempting to access a file that has alternate key(s) from a system
running G06.22 or earlier can result in a DP2 failure. The failure
occurs only if the alternate key file is FORMAT 2 and partitioned.
Release Version Updates affected:
G06.23
PREVENTIVE ACTION:
For files which are remotely accessed and have FORMAT 2, partitioned
alternate key files, re-create the alternate key files as FORMAT 1.
