B What Is in an SPR Note
SPR Notes provide detailed information about an SPR, and include:
SPR Introduction Document (SID) provides summary information about the SPR
and is distributed by ExpressNotice.
Softdoc is a copy of the softdoc for the SPR.
DSV Information lists the files in the distribution subvolume (DSV) for the SPR.
You can access SPR Notes through the NTL Support and Service Library.
SPR Introduction Document (SID)
An SPR Introduction Document (SID) provides summary information about an SPR
and is part of the Software Revision Notifications delivered by the ExpressNotice
service.
SIDs are also viewable through Scout for NonStop Servers when you click the SID icon
on the Product Version Information page or the Detailed SPR Information page.

Note. Starting with June 2006, SPR Notes are no longer created. Previously published SPR
Notes remain available in NTL.
Note. Starting with G06.28 and H06.05, SIDs are only created and published to Scout for
NonStop Servers for Exception Delivery SPRs, which include Time Critical Fixes (TCFs) and
Early Product Deliveries (EPDs). SIDs for Planned Product Maintenance (PPM) SPRs are no
longer produced for G-series and H-series RVU-based SPRs or for Independent Product
SPRs. See Support Note S06013 for details.
