Common and ZMS Style Only ID Field DDL Definitions for CPU Entities
These ID fields are used in both styles of DDL records. Fields that are used in ZMS Style DDL records
only are noted.
Fields are listed alphabetically.
CPU-SUBTYPE
Binary value indicating the subtype for the CPU.
CPU-TYPE
Processor type. You can use the PROCESSOR_GETNAME_ procedure to determine the processor
type. For more information about processor types and the PROCESSOR_GETNAME_ procedure,
refer to the Guardian Procedure Calls Reference Manual.
FLAGS
(ZMS Style only) In H06.24/J06.13 and later RVUs, a 16-bit field that is used to indicate if the
measurement was done on an NSMA or a non-NSMA system.
Reserved for future use.flags.0:14
1 = The measurement was done on an NSMA system.flags.15
IPUS
(ZMS Style only) In Measure J01 and later PVUs, supports the reporting of the number of IPUs
comprising the logical CPU.
MEM-FRAMES
Number of frames (physical pages) in the CPU configuration. (This value is the PHYSCL value in
the PEEK utility.)
MEM-INITIAL-LOCK
Number of page frames locked by the SYSGEN program. The difference between MEM-FRAMES
and MEM-INITIAL-LOCK is called SWAPBL in PEEK. The value is the number of memory page
frames locked during system load and available for use by the operating system. The value depends
on the operating system.
MEM-MB
Total memory size in megabytes.
PAGE-SIZE-BYTES
Number of bytes in the memory page frame of the CPU being measured.
PCBS
Number of process control blocks (PCBs) configured by the SYSGEN program.
