New and Changed Information for H06.24/J06.13 RVUs (523324-016)
• Revised information about active counter measurements in LISTACTIVE entity-type
(page 86), CPU (page 161), and PROCESS (page 291).
• Revised OSS Journal Segment (page 149) to include information that if an OSS file is deleted
before the measurement ends, the translation may not be captured in the OSS journal.
• Changed the RESERVED-1 field in the ZMSCPU-ID structure for the CPU entity to the FLAGS
field. Also added the definition for this new FLAGS (page 165) ID field.
• Revised the description of CPU-BUSY-TIME (page 166) counter for the CPU entity on TNS/E
systems.
• Added a new usage note to Usage Notes for J-Series CPU Entities (page 176) describing
Measure behavior when the number of enabled IPUs/CPU is dynamically increased during
a CPU measurement.
• Changed the RESERVED-1 field in the ZMSPROC-ID structure for the PROCESS entity to the
FLAGS field. Also added the definition for this new FLAGS (page 297) ID field.
• Added a new usage note to Usage Notes for J-Series PROCESS Entities (page 310) describing
Measure behavior when the number of enabled IPUs/CPU is dynamically increased during
a PROCESS measurement.
• Definitions of the entity descriptors have been moved from MEASCONFIGURE (page 383) in
Chapter 4: Measure Callable Procedures to a new chapter, Chapter 5: Entity Descriptors
(page 451).
• Added a new usage note to the Usage Notes (page 431) for MEAS_READACTIVE_MANY_
that clarifies the behavior resulting in an error 3402 (ERRM^CANNOTACCESS) and the
recommended response.
New and Changed Information for H06.23/J06.12 RVUs (523324-015)
• Updated the Measure product versions to H06 and J04.
Note that the Measure H06/J04 PVU was initially released at the H06.22/J06.11 RVU,
however, no Measure Reference Manual updates were needed for the RVU.
Support for Partition Number for CLIM-attached Devices
• Revised all Usage Notes and provided some examples for ADD, INFO, INFO MEASUREMENT,
LIST, LIST PLOT, and LISTALL commands in Chapter 2: MEASCOM Commands (page 35) to
indicate support for new partition parameter for CLIM-attached devices.
• Revised LISTACTIVE Entity Specification Special Cases, DEVICE (page 89) and DISC (page 90)
to indicate differences in support for partition parameter and multiple names in the sac
parameter for CLIM-attached devices. DEVICE and DISC now each have a separate subsection.
DISC entity supports these new partition-related parameter changes; DEVICE entity does not.
Also, noted that DEVICE entity no longer supports path parameter.
• Revised DEVICE (page 179) entity syntax and Usage Notes to indicate path parameter is no
longer supported.
