OSS-OPENS
(ZMS Style only) In H06.25/J06.14 and later RVUs, current number of OSS file opens of all file
types (regular file opens, pipe/FIFO opens, directory opens, directory streams, TTY opens, NFS
opens, AF_INET socket opens, and AF_UNIX socket opens) on a CPU.
Counter type: Snapshot.
OSS-OPENS-LIMIT
(ZMS Style only) In H06.25/J06.14 and later RVUs, limit of OSS file opens of all file types (regular
file opens, pipe/FIFO opens, directory opens, directory streams, TTY opens, NFS opens, AF_INET
socket opens, and AF_UNIX socket opens) on a CPU.
Counter type: Snapshot.
NOTE: Regular file opens, directory opens, directory streams, and NFS opens are unbounded
open resources used by the OSS file system. The DISK-OPENS-LIMIT, DIR-OPENS-LIMIT,
DIR-STREAMS-LIMIT, and NFS-OPENS-LIMIT values represent soft limits. Until the OSS-OPENS-LIMIT
value has been reached, all of these soft limits can be exceeded. (Also note, the OSS-OPENS-LIMIT
counter and the ALL_OPENS resource limit in the OSS SCF interface represent the same value.)
PIPE-FIFO-OPENS
(ZMS Style only) In H06.25/J06.14 and later RVUs, current number of pipe and FIFO opens on
a CPU.
Counter type: Snapshot.
PIPE-FIFO-OPENS-LIMIT
(ZMS Style only) In H06.25/J06.14 and later RVUs, limit of pipe and FIFO opens on a CPU.
Counter type: Snapshot.
PIPE-FIFO-BUF-BYTES
(ZMS Style only) In H06.25/J06.14 and later RVUs, current number of bytes allocated for pipe
and FIFO data buffers on a CPU.
Counter type: Snapshot.
PIPE-FIFO-BUF-BYTES-LIMIT
(ZMS Style only) In H06.25/J06.14 and later RVUs, maximum size (in bytes) for pipe and FIFO
data buffers on a CPU.
Counter type: Snapshot.
PP-ALLOC-FAILURES
Number of times an OSS pipe could not be resized or allocated.
Counter type: Incrementing.
PS-GETTIME-REQS
Number of gettime requests received by an OSS pipe server process from an OSS name server.
Counter type: Incrementing.
PS-SETTIME-REQS
Number of settime requests received by an OSS pipe server process from an OSS name server.
Counter type: Incrementing.
