LC-ENTRIES
Configured number of link cache records available on an OSS name server.
PIN
Process identification number of the measured OSS name server process.
PROCESS-NAME
Name of the OSS name server process.
PROGRAM-FILE-NAME
Object file of the measured OSS name server process. The name can apply to either a NonStop
file or an SMF file. PROGRAM-FILE-NAME has three subfields:
For NonStop files, is the device location of the physical file.
For SMF files, is the device location of the physical file that corresponds to
the logical file name is stored in the DEVICE-NAME field.
VOLUME
For NonStop files, is the device name of the physical volume on which the
program file is located.
SUBVOLUME
For NonStop files, represents the physical file name that was specified when
the OSS name server process was opened.
FILENAME
For SMF files, represents a location-independent logical file name that was
used when the OSS name server process was opened.
Common Counter Field DDL Definitions for OSSNS Entities
These counter fields are used in both styles of DDL records.
Fields are listed alphabetically.
CHECKPOINT-BLKS
Number of checkpoint blocks sent by an OSS name server to its backup.
Counter type: Incrementing.
CHECKPOINT-REQS
Number of logical checkpoint requests sent by an OSS name server. Checkpoint requests are
assembled into blocks in the primary so that multiple requests are sent to the backup in each
message.
Counter type: Incrementing.
DP2-DD-REQS
Number of data definition requests sent to DP2 by an OSS name server. Data definition operations
are initiated by these procedures:

Counter type: Incrementing.
DP2-MESSAGES
Number of messages an OSS name server sent to DP2. The total includes Data Definition calls,
which modify the file label, as well as other calls that do not alter the disk entry.
