51Deletes an entity from the configurationDELETE entity-type
Usage Notes for All PVUs and RVUs
• If the INFO display shows an entity as both added and deleted, the delete operation takes
precedence.
• MEASCOM displays the information as a list of the commands used to define the configuration.
This feature lets you use /OUT filename/ to create a command (OBEY) file, with which you
can later restore the current measurement configuration.
• The output of the INFO PROCESSH command is a list of the commands used to define the
current PROCESSH measurement configuration. /OUT filename/ can be used to create a
command (OBEY) file that stores a given PROCESSH configuration.
Usage Notes for H-Series PVUs and RVUs
• In H06.23/J06.12 and later RVUs, the partition number for CLIM-attached disks will be
displayed by the INFO DISC command if the partition number was specified for the
measurement. The partition number is the number assigned to a partition within a partitioned
disk. See Examples.
• In Measure H01 and later PVUs, the INFO entity-type command shows DISCOPEN,
DISKFILE, and FILE entity specification using ANSI SQL names if the ANSI SQL names were
used for measurement configuration. For syntax, see the DISCOPEN (page 208) , DISKFILE
(page 217), and FILE (page 227) entities.
Usage Note for G-Series PVUs
In Measure G12 and later PVUs, code-space identifiers are displayed only for TNS code files
(including accelerated TNS code files).
Examples
• The display of the following INFO DISC command shows the partition number (highlighted in
boldface type) for a CLIM-attached disk named $DISC1:
+ INFO DISC
Add Disc $DISC1 (3, X, C1002531, 308, 1)
• To display all CPU entities in the current configuration:
+ INFO CPU
Add cpu *
Delete cpu 6
• This example is on G-series. Notice that it does not display code-space identifiers:
+ ADD PROCESSH $SYSTEM.SYS00.TCPIP (UCR $SYSTEM.SYS00.TCPIP)
+ ADD PROCESSH $SYSTEM.SYS00.TCPIP (ULR $SYSTEM.SYS00.ZCRESRL)
+ ADD PROCESSH $SYSTEM.SYS00.TCPIP (ULR $SYSTEM.SYS00.ZINETSRL)
+ ADD PROCESSH $SYSTEM.SYS00.TCPIP (ULR $SYSTEM.SYS00.ZLANCSRL)
