TSIMSMMC0:
This process is the initiator. It starts all other processes, socket connections for all GUI
connections. All messages from the client process and GUI are sent here and then
sent along to TSIMSMMC5.
TSIMSMMC1:
This process connects to the system via TCP/IP. All messages are sent from this
point.
TSIMSMMC2:
This process sends messages to TSIMSMMC1 from TSIMSMMC0. It acts as a buffer.
If a message was not received from TSIMSMMC1, it will queue and resend it later.
TSIMSMMC3:
This process filters the $0 collector for any $ZSVR for mount, dismount, reject or
canceled messages.
TSIMSMMC4:
This process will receive a labeling message and issue the mount command to be sent
across. Once the mount is received back, it will send the labeling command to the
TSIMSMMCL process.
TSIMSMMC5:
This process received all backup requests from the GUI through TSIMSMMS0. Will
save all backup requests that have been scheduled.
TSIMSMMC6:
This process executes the backup requests.
TSIMSMMCL:
This process does all tape labeling. Request is received from TSIMSMMC4.
TSIMSMMCE:
This process receives $ZSVR messages from TSIMSMMC3 and sends to the GUI for
display.
