The installation process of Mid-Range Silo Media Manager (MSMM) consists of:
•
Installing the MSMM software.
•
Transferring files via FTP.
•
Configuring the MSMM server, and the MSMM GUI to establish communication
between the selected NonStop S-series system and the tape library.
The tape drives can be configured with a NonStop S-series system. In the SL500 tape
library, the maximum number of N1522A tape drives that can be configured using Mid-
Range Silo Media Manager is 14.
