ADD DOMAIN
SCOPE scope-id
defines the NetBIOS scope. scope-id can be *NONE* (the asterisks are required)
to specify a null scope, or it can specify a name in Internet Domain Name format.
Examples:
SCOPE *NONE*
SCOPE ABC.COM
The default is *NONE*. scope-id when specified to NBT must match the
corresponding parameter on all remote nodes. NBT will ignore any messages
referring to a different NetBIOS scope.
CASE SENSITIVE | UPSHIFT
indicates whether scope-id is to be transmitted and received as specified in the
ADD DOMAIN statement, or whether lower-case letters are changed to upper-case
before transmission.
This field is required except when SCOPE is *NONE*. For additional information,
refer to NetBIOS Scopes
on page 2-5.
CASE SENSITIVE
causes scope-id to be transmitted exactly as specified in the ADD DOMAIN
statement, and requires that scope IDs from remote stations exactly match
scope-id.
CASE UPSHIFT
specifies that any lower-case letters in scope-id are to be changed to upper-case
before transmission to the network. Also indicates that upper- and lower-case
letters are to be considered equal in comparisons with scope IDs from remote
stations.
DEFAULT
defines this domain as the default domain.
