NODE^ALIAS
NODE^ALIAS
NODE^ALIAS changes the Expand node name used in forming the NetBIOS names for
the resource manager and 6530 windows. Remote workstations specify node names in
the RMPCCOM SET HOST, the PCT.INI HOST_NAME, and the WINDOW_NAME
commands.
Without NODE^ALIAS, NBT uses the actual NonStop Expand node name of the system
where NBT is running. When NODE^ALIAS is used, NBT uses the alias node name
instead.
NODE^ALIAS is primarily intended for testing two versions of NBT simultaneously on
the same Expand node. This parameter is not normally changed by the user. To display
the current setting of this parameter, use the INFO PROCESS command.
node-name
specifies a NonStop Expand node name, with or without the leading back slash ( \ ).
This command can only be entered once for each NBT execution and must precede
any ADD DOMAIN commands. This command remains in effect for the duration of
the NBT process.
