RECV^SIZE
RECV^SIZE
RECV^SIZE specifies the input buffer size used when NBT accepts inbound data from
TCP/IP during active sessions.
n
specifies the new size in bytes. The default value is 1000, and the range is 100 to
4095. The present value of this parameter may be displayed by the INFO PROCESS
command.
Larger sizes improve performance, but require extra NBT buffer space (refer to Running
NBT on page 3-2 for information on PARAM POOL^SIZE), and also consume Process
File Segment (PFS) space. PFS space can become a critical factor when large numbers
of sessions are used since NBT must have an input buffer for each active session. The
PFS size can be adjusted on the TACL RUN command used to start NBT.
The RECV^SIZE command takes effect after the current input message for each session.
