SECURITY
SECURITY
SECURITY displays and modifies the application’s security setting. This setting is
initially established by the PARAM SECURITY command, with a default of O.
no-parameters
displays the current setting. The value O is the default.
letter
sets the security to the specified letter, which must be from the set NACGUO with
standard Compaq file security interpretation. These letters assign access as follows:
The SECURITY letter controls access to sensitive commands by NBTCOM users.
Sensitive commands are defined as commands that alter the NBT configuration or
operation. Sensitive commands can only be performed by NBTCOM users with a
user ID matching the SECURITY setting. Nonsensitive commands, such as
STATUS, INFO, and LISTOPENS, can be performed by any user ID.
