STATUS WINDOW
STATUS WINDOW
STATUS WINDOW displays the status of a specified window or for all configured
windows. The following information is displayed for each window:
•
STOPPED—requires START WINDOW to restart
•
STARTED—waiting for an application and/or a remote workstation
•
IN SESSION—means PCT or IXF is operational at the remote workstation, and
displays the following:
•
Remote NetBIOS name
•
Remote Ethernet interface address
•
Local session number
STATUS WIN[DOW]
WIN and WINDOW are equivalent.
window-name
specifies the name of the window to be displayed.
The window name must be a pound sign (#) followed by a letter, then 0 to 6 letters
or digits.
The window name qualifies the file name used in Compaq applications to open
NBX files (for example, $NBX.#WIN1).
