Using the NBTEST / RML Utility program
When the NB20 message appears, the Compaq NBTEST waits for the PC NBTEST. To
abort the NBTEST LISTEN, use BREAK and the TACL STOP command. When PC
NBTEST completes its call, Compaq NBTEST displays the following messages:
Once Compaq NBTEST is listening at state NB20 (normal operation), as described
above, it is time to run PC NBTEST in CALL mode, using the following steps at an
MS-DOS PC:
1. Bring up the NetBIOS protocol stack driver according to the vendor’s instructions.
2. Run the NBTEST program from an MS-DOS command prompt, as follows:

NB10 Another Compaq NBTEST is already running in LISTEN mode
NB09 Another PC NBTEST is already running in LISTEN mode
NB20 Normal operation. NBTEST is ready to accept a session from a remote
NBTEST running in CALL mode
NB22 LISTEN completed
NB25 Message statistics are displayed after the first and last messages exchanged,
and periodically during long test sessions
NB23 Session closed normally by caller
NB05 NetBIOS protocol stack not loaded
NB10 Another PC NBTEST is already running in CALL mode
NB09 Another Compaq NBTEST is already running in CALL mode
NB13 Normal operation. PC NBTEST is attempting to establish a session with
Compaq NBTEST
NB14 CALL cannot complete. This indicates either that Compaq NBTEST is not
running in LISTEN mode, or that there is no connectivity between the PC and
the Compaq
NB15 Call completed. NBTEST will now exchange 3 messages
NB25 Message statistics are displayed after the first and last messages exchanged,
and periodically during long test sessions
NB24 Specified message count reached, normal termination
